Rental Terms and Conditions

The vehicle that is the subject of this Agreement shall be referred to as the “Vehicle.” Any reference to Fridam Rentals in this Agreement shall be treated as a reference to the proprietor(s) of Fridam Rentals. All rates include Samoan Government VAGST (15%), are quoted in Samoan Tala, and are subject to change without notice.

The Customer shall return the Vehicle together with all tires, tools, accessories, and equipment in the same condition as received, including the same amount of petrol/diesel in the fuel tank, unless otherwise specified. The Vehicle must be returned to Fridam Rental’s place of business on the date specified in the Agreement, or earlier if requested by Fridam Rentals.

The Vehicle shall not be used, operated or driven :

• By any person younger than 21 years old.
• By any person in violation of any law relating to age or by person who has given to Fridam Rentals a fictitious name or address.
• In any race, contest, competition or in any negligent, reckless, or unlawful manner.
• To carry an excessive load or in a manner likely to cause damage or unreasonable wear and tear to the Vehicle.
• By any person other than the customer.
• By any person under the influence of alcohol, narcotics or intoxicants.

Booking Deposit/ Cancellation Policy

• A $500.00 deposit is required to secure all bookings and must be sent 2 weeks or before arrival date.
• Bookings cancelled 2 weeks prior to the pickup date will incur a 10% cancellation fee, deducted from the deposit.
• Bookings cancelled within 7 days prior to pick up date will incur a 25% cancellation fee, deducted from the deposit.
• In the event that you choose to pay more than the required $500.00 deposit and later cancel your booking, the cancellation fee will apply to the total amount received.
• Vehicle(s) returned before the agreed date will incur a 20% fee deducted from the remaining days of rent.

A refundable bond is required for all rentals before the vehicle is released. It is held to cover the terms listed:

• Vehicle damage 
• Cleaning fee
• Fuel charges
• Late return fees
• Lost/damaged keys or accessories

The bond will be refunded once:

• The vehicle has been returned
• A full vehicle inspection has been completed
• No additional charges or damages are identified

If the Vehicle is Damaged in any way when it is received by or in the possession of Fridam Rentals or is not returned to Fridam Rentals, the Customer shall be liable for :

• Any Damage to the Vehicle (including all cost of repairs, towing and/or retrieving the Vehicle).
• The total insurance access of $4,000.00 SAT which is non waiverable, whether at fault or not.
• Customer is liable to pay for loss of income during the time the said vehicle is under repair at the rate the said vehicle was rented out.

The customer also agrees that underbody, windscreen, stereo and tire damages are entirely at the renters risk unless specified otherwise by owner.

Fridam Rentals has the right to retrieve at any time or demand the early return of the rented vehicle if there is or suspected breach of the Agreement.

The Customer will be solely liable for any and all personal injuries, including death and property damages in any way resulting from or during the time the vehicle is being rented out by the customer.

The Customer will be liable for all costs incurred by Fridam Rentals in having to enforce the Agreement, including all legal and Court costs.
